Background
With over 20 years of company information, policies, and SOPs, Best Buy’s intranet was a labyrinth no one wanted to navigate, except when absolutely necessary.
In 2021, as the world started adjusting to post-pandemic life, Best Buy Canada shifted from an on-site working model to a hybrid one. Naturally, our intranet needed a supercharged makeover to keep up.

I stepped into this project during an exciting yet challenging phase—migration.

BY introducing an empowering framework for content strategy, migration, and governance.


Results
Within 6 months of introducing the framework and ux support, the company was able to migrated 80% of their content and give access to the entire company. Analytics have reported an 18% in crease in employee’s productivity. The system has been in use for over two years now by 170,000 employees across Canada on a daily basis.
